What does a carbon filter do?
A carbon filter, also known as odour filter or air filter , is connected to the tube fan of your extraction system. The filter sucks the scented air out of your growroom and lets it pass through a thick layer of activated carbon. Odour molecules remain in this, while the clean air is exhausted outside.

Which carbon filter do I need?
Choosing the right model depends on the size of your tent, the number of lights, heat production and the desired air change per hour.
Extraction capacity calculation (in m³/hour):
Step 1: Calculate the volume of your grow roomLength x Width x Height = volume in m³
Step 2: Multiply by 60 (for air changes every minute)
For example: 1.2 x 1.2 x 2 = 2.88 m³ → 2.88 x 60 = ±173 m³/h
Step 3: Add to heat and filter resistance
